## What this page is for

The **Rental Fleet** page lists every aircraft the club currently rents, with photographs,
specifications, hourly rates, and any documents the owner has made available. It is public, so you
can send a link to somebody who is not a member.

## What you see

The page opens as a grid of aircraft cards. Above them is a toolbar with three filters on the left
and a view toggle on the right.

| Control | What it does |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **All Manufacturers** | Narrows to one manufacturer |
| **All Types** | Narrows to one aircraft type |
| **All Bases** | Narrows to aircraft based at one field |
| **Grid** / **List** | Switches between picture cards and a compact row-per-aircraft list |

Filtering and switching views happen instantly — the page does not reload, and nothing is lost if
you change your mind. Once a filter is set, a **Clear** button appears beside the dropdowns.

If a combination of filters matches nothing, the page says so and offers **Clear filters** rather
than leaving you looking at an empty screen.

## Opening an aircraft

Click any aircraft to open its own page. You get:

* **Photographs** — up to four, whichever the owner has uploaded.
* **Details** — base, year, colour, seats, power, cruise speed, useful load, fuel capacity, and
the hourly rate. The rate says whether fuel is included.
* **Equipment** — the avionics and equipment fitted, where the club records it.
* **Downloads** — checklists, W\&B sheets, POH excerpts and similar, when the owner has published
  them.

Each aircraft page has its own web address, so you can bookmark one aircraft or send a link
straight to it.

<Note>
**Rates are shown wet or dry.** A rate marked *fuel included* is a wet rate; one marked *fuel not
included* is dry. See the [glossary](/start/glossary).
</Note>

## Downloads

The **Downloads** panel lists files the aircraft's owner has published — commonly checklists,
weight and balance sheets, and equipment guides.

A file appears here only when it is both listed by the owner **and** actually present, so a link on
this page always leads to a real file. An aircraft with nothing published shows no panel at all,
which means the club has nothing for it rather than something being broken.

## Which aircraft appear here

This page shows the aircraft that are **available to rent right now**. An aircraft is left out
when:

* it has been suspended, which removes it from the scheduler as well; or
* it is set to be hidden from the schedule; or
* it is not a rental aircraft or simulator — support equipment and similar are not listed.

**So an aircraft missing from this page is not an error.** It usually means the aircraft is out of
service or otherwise not bookable, and it will reappear when that changes.

## The Featured Aircraft card

Elsewhere on the site you may see a single aircraft highlighted in a card of its own. It is picked
at random from the aircraft that have a photograph, and it changes as you move around the site.
Clicking it opens that aircraft's page here. It is a shop window, not a recommendation — there is
nothing special about the aircraft being shown.

## Troubleshooting

**An aircraft you expected is not listed.**
It is most likely suspended or hidden from the schedule — see above. If you believe that is wrong,
[contact the club](/start/getting-help).

**A photograph is missing or out of date.**
Photographs are uploaded by the aircraft's owner. Owners can change them at any time from their own
**My Aircraft** page.

**The specifications look wrong.**
Everything in the **Details** panel comes from the club's operations system, so a correction has to
be made there rather than on the website. [Contact the club](/start/getting-help).

**A download link is missing.**
Only files the owner has published appear. If a checklist you need is not there, ask the club or
the owner to publish it.
